Now Avia has introduced the Avi-Motion series of toning shoes. It's the first toning shoe accepted by the American Podiatric Association. The shear cantilever system accelerates the heel area's ability to rebound to its natural state in time for the next heel strike. The anatomical cradle design provides the proper feedback to enhance stability, and the midsole material comprises a blend of both EVA and PU for significant weight reduction. It also offers proper forefoot flexibility to allow for natural Dorsiflexion, part of the coordinated action of the layers of muscle, tendon, ligament and bony architecture that helps to maintain arch height and foot rigidity. This helps with effective push off power. Finally, it includes both the time tested Archrocker engineering design that enhances the rocking motion from heel to toe in the gait cycle, and a propulsion plate with midsole rigidity to help retain rocker motion.
